Deep Sengupta relays the Chess Olympiad Torch from Dharamshala to Amritsar
24/06/2022 - The 22nd Grandmaster of India, Deep Sengupta, carried the Chess Olympiad Torch for two days. The three-times Hastings Masters winner travelled to five different cities. First he went to Dharamshala and Shimla in the state of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday 22nd June. On the following day, 23rd June, he travelled to Chandigarh, Patiala and finally Amritsar at Attari Border, Wagah where he handed the Torch to Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar, Harpreet Singh Sudan, IAS.
