Neelotpal - Shyam Sundar

Position after 40...Kc7

White had an opportunity to win the game. He had to capture the a4-pawn right away. He did it after a few moves. Can you find out the difference between capturing the pawn right away and after a few moves like it happened in the game?

Aronyak - Arya

Position after 55.Rc7+

Arya Omidi (IRI, 2301) made a series of mistakes which allowed his opponent IM Aronyak Ghosh (2541) to score a win from a losing position. 54...Qa3? 55.Rc7+ Kg6?? find out the winning combination for white. 55...Rxc7 56.Qxa3 Rxe6 would have also been good enough for Black.

IM Aronyak Ghosh perservered a losing endgame to beat Arya Omidi (IRI)

Deepan - Iniyan

Position after 47...Rc3

Which pawn White should defend, c2 or c4? In the game, GM Deepan Chakkravarthy (2422) decided to go 48.Rf4?? which was the cause of a loss after Rxc2 49.Rxf7 Kxc4. GM Iniyan Pa (2515) managed to convert his advantage into a full point.

GM Deepan Chakravarthi's inaccuracy in the final moments of the endgame cost him a half point against GM Iniyan Pa
