Leon debuts at Tegernsee Masters
Days after making his maiden GM-norm and winning Budapest Rigochess for the second time in the year, Leon got invited to the strong Tegernsee Masters. The ten player Round-Robin tournament has a stellar line-up including the top three players of Germany - Matthias Bluebaum, Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu and Alexander Donchenko. German prodigy Vincent Keymer and Brazil no.3 Alexander Fier are also among the strong players to battle it out. It will be definitely an interesting challenge for Leon as he looks for his second GM-norm.

Leon - Nisipeanu 0.5-0.5
Leon held the former World no.15 and the highest ranked Romanian player GM Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu to a draw in the opening round of Tegernsee Masters. The 14-year-old was never in danger and he played solid throughout the game.
