Astounding Pranav Venkatesh wins Challengers Final Four and Challengers Chess Tour 2022

GM Pranav Venkatesh is quite familiar with balancing two events simultaneously having different formats. He won an individual Gold medal on Board no.1 for India at World Youth Under-16 Olympiad earlier this month. He also won the Magnus Academy Challenge at the same time. The 15-year-old boy is curently playing at the Asian Continental Championship 2022. However, he also managed to win the Challengers Final Four beating Andrey Esipenko 2.5-1.5 in the Semifinals and Raunak Sadhwani 3-0 in the Finals to win the entire Challengers Chess Tour 2022. Pranav set to square off with Praggnanandhaa this December

This December, India's 75th GM Pranav Venkatesh will battle GM R Praggnanandhaa in a match at Tel Aviv, Israel. Total US$ 10000 prize pot will be up for grabs.

Despite starting with a loss at the Asian Continental 2022, Pranav drew the second game with FM Ojasva Singh and won the next three games against - IM Dushyant Sharma, GM Laxman R R and GM Mitrabha Guha. He is now at 3.5/5. This tournament win and the entire tour triumph is certainly going to give him for the rest of the tournament.
