The sole draw was against the Bronze medal winning team. India missed a medal due to the third tie-break criteria, the second tie-break, Game Points was also same with Philippines - 15.

India - Philippines: 2-2

Darpan Inani (2016) scored the sole win for the team against James Inifesto (1930). IM Shashikant Kutwal (2182) and Kishan Gangolli (2059) drew with FM Sander Severino (2364) and Henry Lopez (2102). Naveen Kumar A (2014) conceded the sole loss against Darry Bernaardo (2070). However, Naveen's queen exchange in the endgame almost paid off.

Darry - Naveen

Position after 70.b4

A tricky pawn endgame which looks winning for White due to having an outside passed pawn on a-file. However, Black can save the game using a nice trick. Can you find what is it? Had Naveen drawn this game, India would have beaten Philippines and the team would get a Bronze, but unfortunately that did not happen.
