Gukesh, Arjun Erigaisi and Praggnanandhaa maintain their position in World top ten

The ranking among the men did not see a major change as most of them played Freestyle event. It is not FIDE rated. However, very few played Bundesliga games which did not affect their rating much. The World Champion remains at World no.3 position for the third consecutive FIDE rating list. Seven Indians are still in top 30. GM Nihal Sarin, GM Raunak Sadhwani and GM Karthikeyan Murali gained 5.7, 7.3 and 7.2 Elo rating points each. GM Koneru Humpy returned to World no.5 among women after winning the FIDE Pune GP. IM Divya Deshmukh also returned to her previous rank of World no.19 among women after finishing third at the aforementioned event. There she increased her rating by 9.2 points.
