Nikita Bansal played an important role in organising these events. Speaking about the event, she said:
My visit to the National Under-7 Chess Championship in Nagpur inspired a vision: to give young chess players in Delhi regular opportunities to compete, learn, and grow. As a parent, I believe every child deserves a platform to challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover their potential. These one-day championships aim to turn competition into a joyful experience, nurturing talent and a lifelong passion for chess
Unity One Elegante, Pitampura, and Vegas Mall, Dwarka, served as venue partners for the two editions. Both venues provided food vouchers to participating children. Govind Aggarwal of Unity Group also supported this initiative.
