I spoke about my journey as a creator and that of ChessBase India and answered the questions put to the panel. Gautam Anand, YouTube's Vice President for Asia-Pacific asked questions revolving not just our journeys but also how we have built our communities and what improvements would we suggest the YouTube team! We also got a chance after the session to meet many of the developers who have made different features on YouTube platform - YouTube studio, YT create, memberships and more.

What the Impact Report says about Indian creators
Copies of the YouTube Impact Report were part of the day. Two of its findings: Indian channels uploaded over 160 million hours of content in the past year, and 75% of viewers say YouTube helps them discover content related to their local history and culture.

Why YouTube matters to ChessBase India
Sagar on what the day meant to him:
YouTube has been such an integral part of building ChessBase India. We have spent incredible amounts of time trying to promote chess through the platform, and it was an absolute honour for me to be present at the YouTube Impact Summit.
YouTube is the home of chess. It is where people consume chess, and where people follow live streams of chess. I am very grateful that YouTube has provided such a beautiful place for chess to grow and thrive.
A thank you to the YouTube team
It's an incredible co-incidence that the YouTube team contacted me for the 29th of September event and our flight was actually landing from Tashkent to Delhi on the same date! :) Being part of a YouTube event is always very special. Thanks a lot to the entire YouTube team for making us feel special.
