Vitaly Sivuk wins 18th IGB Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysian Open 2023, Mitrabha Guha second
GM Vitaly Sivuk (SWE), GM Mitrabha Guha, IM Aditya Bagus Arfan (INA) and GM Deepan Chakkravarthy scored 7/9 each. Sivuk won 18th IGB Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysian Open 2023 due to better tie-breaks. The remaining three were placed second to fourth respectively. Mitrabha was the sole leader heading into the last round. Deepan defeated him and Sivuk drew against GM Darwin Laylo (PHI). The top three prizes were US$ 3500, 2000 and 1000 along with a medal each respectively.
