Chessable Masters Day 3: So tops the Prelims
The top two positions at the points table remained unchanged at the conclusion of the third day of prelims at Meltwater Champions Chess Tour Chessable Masters. So won the prelims with an unbeaten 11.0/15 followed by Aronian at 10.5/15. Firouzja and Nakamura also scored 10.5/15 each. Artemiev, Liem, Mamedyarov and Jorden van Foreest are the other Quarterfinalists. Abhimanyu Mishra scored his sole victory of the event against Harikrishna. Abhimanyu beats Harikrishna
It was a tough day for the Indians. Adhiban started the day with two victories, but those are the only scoring games he had. Harikrishna scored only 1.0/5 and Humpy, despite getting winning positions against Aronian and Wenjun, she was unable to convert either of them. Her score remained unchanged from the previous day.
Round 11: Adhiban - Abhimanyu: 1-0
Adhiban had an absolutely wild game against the world's youngest grandmaster, Abhimanyu Mishra.
Adhiban unleashed his 'Beast mode' starting with 14.Ngf5. The game continued 14...exf5 15.e6 Ne5 16.exf7+ Nxf7 17.Ne6 Qe5 and after a few moves we got the following interesting position
No one would have been surprised if White continued 20.Qxb7 Nxb7 21.Bxd4 and so on. Surprisingly computer says that's the best continuation for White. However, Adhiban chose the humane 20.Ba4+ Nd7 21.Qh5+ and went on to win the game comfortably.
Tari - Anton: 0-1
Tari was completely winning against Anton until he made an incorrect exchange of rooks and things completely turned into his opponent's favor.
White played 36.Rxe8 Bxe8 37.Re5 and things turned completely in Black's favor after 37...Qd7. What should have White played in the above position?
Round 12: Abhimanyu - Artemiev: 0.5-0.5
Unlike the previous day, this time the young Abhimanyu managed to hold a draw in a drawn position, against Artemiev.
Harikrishna - Wenjun: 1-0
Harikrishna defeated the reigning women's world champion Wenjun with an enterprising attack.
Nakamura - Tari: 1-0
Nakamura won a high voltage action against Tari with a beautiful checkmate combination.

Humpy - Aronian: 0-1
Humpy got herself in a completely winning position against Aronian but she missed it probably due to time scramble.
Find out the winning plan for White after 36...Qb2. Humpy played 37.Kg1 and evetually lost her advantage and the game too.
Adhiban - Jorden: 1-0
Adhiban won his second consecutive game of the day. This time it was against Jorden van Foreest.
Black needed to play 19...h5 to keep things balanced. Instead, 19...c5 made things worse for Black by provoking 20.Nxe6.

Round 14: Abhimanyu - Harikrishna: 1-0
Abhimanyu outplayed Harikrishna to score his first and only victory of the event.
Round 15: Wenjun - Humpy: 1-0
Humpy had a substantial advantage against the women's world champion, Wenjun.
Black should have played 20...Nd2 followed by taking the c4-pawn but she played 20...Re8 and eventually lost her advantage and the game.
