Top seed reigns supreme
Top seed of the tournament, Dupit Tabu scored an unbeaten 7.5/8 and finished a half point ahead of the runner-up to win 4th State level Open Tournament in Arunachal Pradesh. His only draw was in round 4 against Raluk Dui. Tadam Dupit scored 7.0/8 to secure the sole second position. Rejum Ronya finished with 6.5/8 to secure the sole third position. All three of them are from Upper Subansiri district.




The tournament was organized by All Arunachal Pradesh Chess Association from 23rd to 27th November 2019. Total 81 players participated from various district across the state. The total prize fund for the tournament was ₹100000.
