Alankrita's first rating tournament triumph
The top two seeds - Priya Yadav and Alankrita Sharma were the coleaders 7.5/8, heading into the final round. Priya lost to Srujanika Gupta and Alankrita defeated Vaishnavi. Thus, Alankrita became a clear champion 8.5/9, Priya sole second 7.5/9 and Srujanika third 7/9. This was Alankrita's tenth over-the-board tournament.
