On the 2nd board, Arjun drew against Aydin Suleymanli. On the 3rd board, Gukesh had serious chances against Muradli, but he let them slip. On the last board, Vidit made a solid draw with black pieces.

Pragg had some minor chances against Mamedyarov, but in practical play it's very tough to convert them into an advantage, and both players agreed to draw.

It could have been a disaster for the women's team as Vaishali lost her game to Alua Nurman, while Divya and Humpy drew their games. Savitha's game was heading towards a draw, and it was looking like a 2.5-1.5 defeat for Team India. But then came our champ Savitha, who won her game on the 4th board in a rook endgame and drew the match 2-2.
