World Champion D Gukesh is putting in some unusual work on his knight play! In his latest Instagram story, he shared a video of himself riding a horse in a field. He put a caption: "They said work on your Knight play... instructions unclear."

Now that's a pretty cool way to take chess advice literally!

Gukesh has been enjoying some time away from the chessboard. A few days ago, he watched Jailer 2 with Praggnanandhaa and Vaishali. He shared pictures from the theatre with the caption “Thalaivar Gang.”

It's lovely to see Gukesh enjoying these fun moments with his friends and making the most of his time away from chess. He will soon return to the board to defend his World Championship title against Uzbekistan’s Javokhir Sindarov in Geneva.

Only a month left for the match! | Photo: FIDE
