Indians dominate Fagernes Autumn 2026
In the GM Group, Harshavardhan GB scored 7.5/9 points to tie for 1st place. In the Open section, Sharan dominated the field and won all 10 games to win the tournament with a 2.5-point lead over the field.

A total of 35 players took part in this classical A 10-round Swiss Chess tournament, which took place in Scandic Valdres. A large hotel and conference centre in the town of Fagernes, Norway, from 3rd to 11th October 2026. The time control was 100 minutes/40 moves + 40 minutes/rest with a 30-second increment per move.
