Seven Hours of Chess, Every Day

  • Daily Duration: Seven hours of chess every day, balancing structured coaching with practical play.

  • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Coaching: Players worked on chess concepts, calculation, tactics, and position analysis under the guidance of IM Nikhil Dixit.

  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Practice Games: Coaching was followed by practice games where players analysed shared positions and tested their ideas over the board.

Learning with IM Nikhil Dixit

The camp was conducted by International Master Nikhil Dixit, who guided the players through training and practical sessions. ChessBase India previously covered Nikhil's rise from a 2100-rated player to 2400 at the age of 18 on his journey to becoming an International Master.

From Training to Competition

The camp also gave players opportunities to put their preparation to the test. A nine-player Double Round Robin Tournament formed part of the playing sessions.

Guest players IM Kashish Jain, FM Avirat Chauhan, and CM Shlok Sharnarthi joined the group for practice and a team battle.
