6th Round

The Final round of the day delivered some excellent games as Alireza Firouza defeated R Praggnanandhaa to increase his sole lead. It was a crazy game where both players were making back-to-back mistakes in a complex endgame, but eventually Alireza came out on top. In another decisive result, Gukesh defeated Anish Giri in a great opposite-site castle game.
