IM Anuj Shrivatri scored an unbeaten 8/9 points to win the 1st Burhanpur Open Rapid Rating Tournament 2026. Anuj and Sammed Jaykumar Shete were both unbeaten 8/9, but a better tiebreak score helped Anuj win the tournament. Five players scored 7.5/9 points to finish in 3rd to 7th place. The tournament was organised by Burhanpur District Chess Association on the 6th and 7th June 2026.
