Improve your Chess Calculation by RB Ramesh
RB Ramesh is one of the most celebrated chess coaches all across the World, who has produced countless strong chess players through his fantastic teaching methods. In his maiden book, Ramesh focuses on calculation - the most important skills which sets strong masters apart from club players. This is a very intense book where you have to work hard to solve each and every position. But calculation is hard work! This book is for everyone - granted you go through it carefully and deeply. 100 endgames you must know - Jesus De la Villa
This is one of those books you will see recommended in every chess forum, and often brought up in discussions. There's a reason why - this is a fantastic book! The author has picked 100 theoretical endgame positions (remember, many top players have missed the correct solution from time to time!) for you to go through. With simple rules, crystal clear explanations on each position, many diagrams to make the book reader-friendly, this is a must-have book if you want to improve your endgame play. There are dozens of tests included to check how are your skills improving in real time!
There are 2 other books on endgames by Jesus De la Villa which we highly recommend the reader to get along with 100 endgames you must know: 100 Endgame Patterns You Must Know, and The 100 Endgames You Must Know Workbook: Practical Endgames Exercises for Every Chess Player. This will complete your experience learning endgames from the author! These 3 books compliment each other very well, making you stronger in both theoretical and practical endgames.
The Jeremy Silman Combo - Silman’s Endgame Course + How to Reassess your chess by Jeremy Silman
IM Jeremy Silman is regarded as one of the finest authors in the World of Chess. This is a combo pack of 2 of his amazing books! Silman's endgame course is well-known to be one of the best resources of teaching endgames to players of different skill levels. The book has a unique system where you can access different chapters as you grow stronger!
