"The purpose of the program is to promote elite investment for young chess players in Sweden and open doors for their international careers. The first competition is a GM tournament and is to be considered a pilot. The next tournament will be both GM+IM tournament April 28–May 2 and there is great interest in it. The press release says that this investment would not have been possible without the commitment of SS 4 Springare and Vladimir Poley, who says: I was a little disappointed that no one took any GM norm in the Rilton Cup last time, Edvin Trost got 7 out of 9 without the opportunity to take the norm. That is why I wanted to get involved in this venture. Even though it was short notice, everything is ready for our first tournament next week. (Translated by Bing)
