A total of 256 players took part from 32 countries across the world in the Juniors Under-16 category. The tournament was organized by Abu Dhabi Chess Club & Mind Games from 16th to 22nd August 2023 at Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Abu Dhabi Corniche in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The nine-round Swiss league tournament had a time control of 70 minutes each.
