Number of Scholarships
There are a total of four scholarships will be provided for chess in Junior (<18) and Senior (>18) category, one each for Men and Women.
Eligibility, Age Criteria and Other details
Indian citizen who does not have scholarship/stipend from any other organization during the scholarship from 15 to 20 years of age. Economically weaker section shall be given a priority. The applicant must fulfill the age criteria and shall not be employed/receive scholarship/sponsorship/part of professional league and more. Date of birth must be between 1st April 2005 to 1st April 2010. For all details, please refer to the images below.
Scholarship amount
The scholarship amount will be between ₹15000 and ₹30000 per month based on the category and level. Check out the table below for exact amount for each category and level.
