Kedar's first tournament triumph of his career
The 16th edition witnessed the total participation of 104 players, 32 in Open A, 41 in Open B (<2000) and 31 in Open C (<1600). GM Hagesh Pötsch (GER) won Open A scoring 4.5/5 and Elias Schneeweis (AUT) won Open B with a 4/5 score.




A total of 31 players took part from four countries across the world in the Group C (<1600) category. The tournament was organized by WSV ATSV Ranshofen Schach at Ranshofen Castle in Braunau am Inn, Austria from 13th to 15th December 2024. The five-round Swiss league tournament had a time control of 40 moves in 90 minutes + 15 minutes for the rest + 30 seconds increment from move no.1.
