India wins eight medals at 4th Asian Para Games 2022

India has won a total of eight medals in chess at 4th Asian Para Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China. Darpan Inani won individual Gold in Men's Rapid B1 scoring an unbeaten 6/7. Soundarya Kumar Pradhan won Silver 5.5/7 and Ashvin K Makwana Bronze 5/7. The three of them also won team Gold in the same category scoring 16.5/21. Kishan Gangolli won an individual Bronze medal in Men's Rapid B2B3 category scoring 5/7. He also won a team Bronze in the same category with Aryan B Joshi 3.5/7 and Somender B L 3.5/7. Himanshi Rathi secured an individual Bronze in Women Classical B1 category with a score 5/7. She is also part of the Bronze medal winning team in Women Rapid B1 with Vruthi Jain 3/7 and Sanskruti Vikas More 3/7.
