Anjali Sagar claims four medals, Bhavik Gold and Saina Silver
Seven out of nine medals were claimed by the members of Sagar family. Anjali Sagar won four individual medals in the Senior 50 category. Her daughter, Siya Sagar was part of two Bronze and one Silver medal winning Under-16 Girls team. Anjali's elder daughter, WIM Tejaswini Sagar was present there to support her mother and sister.
Individual: Under-20 Girls Rapid - Silver
WIM Saina Salonika (2109) scored 5/7 to secure Silver in Under-20 Girls Rapid. She drew against the eventual Gold medalist, WIM Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong (VIE) in the penultimate round and defeated the Bronze medal winner, WIM Thien Gan Nguyen (VIE) in Round 4.

Under-16 Open Blitz - Gold
Bhavik Ahuja (2014), FM Hoang Minh Hieu (VIE, 2043), CM Mariano Fabian Glen (INA, 2085) and Pham Truong Phu (VIE, 1579) scored 6.5/9 each. Bhavik won the Gold due to better tie-breaks. The remaining three were placed second to fourth. Bhavik defeated the eventual Silver medalist Hoang Minh. However, he lost to the Bronze medalist, Mariano in Round 6.
