India wins four medals at World Cadet Rapid and Blitz Championships 2025

The reigning 37th National Under-11 Girls 2024 champion, Divi Bijesh has won two medals FIDE World Cadet Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2025. Divi won Gold in Under-10 Girls Rapid scoring an unbeaten 10/11. She won Silver in Under-10 Girls Blitz event with a score of 9/11. Pune district Under-9 Girls 2025 and Maharashtra State Under-7 Girls 2024 champion, Anvi Deepak Hinge secured a Silver medal in the Under-8 Girls Rapid event. Divi claims Gold and Silver

The current 37th National Under-11 Girls 2024 champion, Divi Bijesh is the only girl out of the three who won two medals at this event - Gold in Under-10 Girls Rapid and Silver in Under-10 Girls Blitz.

Rapid: Under-8 Girls - Silver

Alisha Bissaliyeva (KAZ, 1591) scored a perfect 11/11 to clinch Gold. Pune district Under-9 Girls 2025 and Maharashtra State Under-7 Girls 2024 champion, Anvi Deepak Hinge (1513) scored 9.5/11 to secure Silver medal. Anna Charyyeva (TKM, 1667) claimed Bronze scoring 8/11.

The reigning 37th National Under-11 Girls 2025 champion, WCM Divi Bijesh (1752) scored an unbeaten 10/11 to clinch Gold in Under-11 Girls. She finished a full point ahead of the competition. Divi defeated both runners-up. Daria Kravchuk (UKR) secured Silver scoring 9/11. Bronze went to Hoang Bao An Tran (VIE) 8.5/11

Blitz: Under-10 Girls - Silver and Bronze

Hoang Bao An Tran (VIE, 1758) scored 9.5/11 to clinch the Gold in Blitz Under-10 Girls. Her only loss was against the eventual Bronze medalist, Kiyanna Parihaar. WCM Divi Bijesh (1883) and the reigning 37th National Under-9 Girls 2024 champion, Kiyanna Parihaar (1672) scored 9/11 each. They secured Silver and Bronze medals respectively. Divi got the better of Kiyanna in Round 6.
