IM Harikrishnan A Ra and Niccolo Baldeschi (ITA) scored an unbeaten 4.5/5 each at won 7th Mimosa Open 2024. Harikrishnan won the tournament due to better tie-breaks, Niccolo secured second place. They both finished a full point ahead of the rest. Pietro Mirri (ITA) was adjudged third scoring 3.5/5. The total prize fund in Open A was €500. The top three prizes were €250 + trophy, €150 and €100 each respectively. The three-day five-round tournament was organized by Mimosa SSD at Washington 33 in Milan, Italy from 24th to 26th April 2024. This is Harikrishna's third rating tournament triumph of the month and overall fifth of the year.

A total of 31 players including an IM took part from four countries across the world in this three-day five round Above 1800 Rating Open A tournament. It was organized by Mimosa SSD at Washington 33 in Milan, Italy from 24th to 26th April 2024. The time control of the event was 90 minutes  + 30 seconds increment per move.
