Guwahati, Delhi and Gujarat to host three GM Open tournaments in March 2022
Over-the-board chess tournament is resuming in India, starting with National Senior Open and Women 2022 later this month. If you wish to play strong GM tournaments and worry about travel uncertainties outside the country, fret not. There will be three consecutive GM Open tournaments at Guwahati, Delhi and Ahmedabad. It starts from 13th March, immediately after the conclusion of National Junior. So even if you are playing in any of the four confirmed National championships, you can make plans for the three strong events which has a very good prize fund too. Upcoming tournaments in February-March 2022
Few days ago, we had already mentioned the details of upcoming National Senior Open and Women 2022. There will be three consecutive GM Open tournaments in Guwahati, Delhi and Gujarat next month, starting from 13th March and the final event concluding on 7th April 2022.
Conditions for foreign titled players at Guwahati, Delhi and Gujarat GM Open
For GMs: Air fare compensation to reach India, all internal air tickets and full board accommodation on double sharing basis.
For IMs WGMs and WIMs: Pocket money, internal air tickets in India and full board accommodation.
