Arjun was forced to go for perpetual checks to prevent his king getting checkmated by Abdusattorov's queen. Anton Korobov (UKR) and Vincent Keymer (GER) won their second games in-a-row. Korobov showed fantastic positional understanding against Marc` Andria Maurizzi (FRA). Keymer displayed his tactical alertness after getting himself ready for an annihilation on Nils Grandelius' (SWE) kingside. Wenjun Ju (CHN) suffered her second consecutive loss.
