All four games in the penultimate round of 28th TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament 2023 ended in draws. D Gukesh tried his very best until the very end against the legendary, Boris Gelfand. However, the rook and opposite color bishop endgame did not offer much for the teenager to push further for a win. World's youngest GM Abhimanyu Mishra continues his dream run. He drew against Arjun Erigaisi quite comfortably by ensuring none of his attacks on his kingside bear any fruit. Who will win this event - Abhimanyu, Peter Svidler or someone else? If two or more players end up having the same score, tie-break games will be played . In that case, prizes will be shared irrespective of the outcome. 90 minutes for 40 moves and then 30 minutes for the remaining moves with 30 seconds cumulative increment for each move starting from the first move (Malmö rules-no draws before move 40).
