Aronyak Ghosh scored an unbeaten 7/9 points to score his final GM Norm to become India's 95th Grandmaster. It took Aronyak 2 years to score his final GM Norm. Aronyak is already a player of Grandmaster strength and calibre; it was just a matter of time for him to earn this final norm.

Aronyak Ghosh became India's 95th GM when he achieved his 3rd GM norm at the Bangkok Open just a few days ago. He became a GM at the age of 22. He did this with great financial struggle, where his parents put a lot of things at stake, their jewellery, their land and much more! The boy achieved the GM title like a champ!!

In this video, we get to see Aronyak in his typical style - humorous yet thoughtful.
