Rohith Krishna S wins 1st Menuires International Chess Open, Raja Rithvik finishes second
GM Rohith Krishna S scored an unbeaten 7/9 points to win the 1st Menuires International Chess Open - Masters Tournament 2026 held in Les Ménuires. GM Rohith and GM Raja Rithvik R both scored 7/9, but the better tiebreaks helped Rohith clinch the title. The tournament was organised from 11th to 18th July 2026 at Les Ménuires. Rohith Krishna S and Raja Rithvik R won 5 games and drew the remaining 4 games to score 7/9 and finish in the top 2 spots. 5 players scored 6.5/9 to finish in 3rd to 7th places. GM Artem Omelja secured 3rd place while GM SL Narayanan secured 4th place on tiebreak scores. All top 4 players were unbeaten throughout the tournament.
