With this victory, Hari's elo has increased by 12.7 points, taking it to his career-best rating of 2755.7 making him the World No. 14 in the live rating list.
This means that he has joined the absolute upper echelons of the chess world and, hopefully, his continuing rise will make him a regular in the super-tournaments. This success should boost his confidence ahead of the Qatar Masters that begins today.
