Vidit Gujrathi set to face world's best at Uzchess Cup Masters 2024 starting today
World no.24 and India no.5 Vidit Gujrathi will play his first tournament after FIDE Candidates 2024 at Uzchess Cup Masters 2024. He will be the sole Indian in the strong lineup comprising - Alexander Grischuk, Yangyi Yu (CHN), Richard Rapport (ROU), Nodirbek Abdusattorov (UZB), Parham Maghsoodloo (IRI), Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (AZE), Nodirbek Yakubboev (UZB), Javokhir Sindarov (UZB) and Alexey Sarana (SRB). Abhijeet Gupta will be taking part in the Challengers section. The tournament will take place from 5th to 15th June at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
