PSPB becomes the champion with a round to spare for the second year in-a-row
The top seed and defending champion, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board delivered an encore performance. Just like the previous edition, this time also they won the tournament with a round to go and finished with a perfect score. IM Nisha Mohota was the top scorer for her team 6.5/7, followed by WGM Mary Ann Gomes 5.5/7, then IM Eesha Karavade and IM Padmini Rout 5/6 each. WIM Vishna Vasnawala contributed a valuable 3/3. Four out of five team members claimed two individual Golds, one Silver and a Bronze.

The time control of the event was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move no.1.
