Iniyan Panneerselvam scores 5 wins in a row to gain a 1-point lead over the field at 360 One Global Chess Masters 2026. In the 5th round, Iniyan defeated IM Ayush Sharma with white pieces. IM Soham Kamotra drew against IM Nitish Belurkar with black pieces, and he will face Iniyan in the 6th round. In Challengers, Viresh Sharnarthi and Vedant Nagarkatte are co-leading with a perfect 5/5, while in Junior Masters, Madhevendra Pratap Sharma is leading with 5/5. Devindya Oshini Gunawardhana from Sri Lanka lost the first two rounds of the tournament. It is always tough to start a tournament with multiple losses, but she came back stronger than ever and scored 3 wins in a row against 2 IMs and defeated GM Mihail Nikitenko in the 5th round.
