This July, Participate at a Chess Festival in Serbia

I am glad to inform you that the Regulations for the 18th International Chess Festival "Paracin 2025" are official and published. 9-days long chess festival will take place in Paracin, Serbia from July 4th to 12th, 2025. Traditional and worldwide well-known chess festival in Paracin will have a total prize fund of €15000 and will consist of four events as follows:
International Tournament "Paracin 2025" - Open A
Open tournament for players rated higher than 2100. Organizer is allowed to include players with lower ratings as follows: 2000-2099 (max 20 players), 1900-1999 (max 10 players), below 1900 (max 5 players). FIDE Swiss, 9 rounds. The tournament is valid for FIDE rating and international title norms.
Time control is 90 minutes + 30 seconds
Total prize fund is 1170000 RSD (app. €10.000), while 1st prize is: 300000 RSD (app. €2550)

The tournament is valid for FIDE rating. Time control is 90 minutes + 30 seconds
The total prize fund is 330000 RSD (app. €2820), while 1st prize is: 60000 RSD (app. €510)

Open Blitz Tournament, July 9th 2025
Blitz tournament, FIDE Swiss, 11 rounds. 3 minutes + 2 seconds per player.
Total prize fund: 100000 RSD (app. €855)

We can offer different accommodation options in our hotels and apartments. For all details, please contact the organizer.
Transfer:
Participants can enjoy the convenience of a provided bus transfer from previous tournaments to Paracin and from Paracin to the upcoming event, with a small fee applicable. We'll share the details as soon as all regulations for the summer tournaments in Serbia are finalized and published.
Additionally, individual transfers from/to Belgrade/Nis Airport or any other location can be arranged.
Special Conditions:
Organizer offers Grandmasters rated 2450+ special conditions in free accommodation.
The amount for those special conditions is limited, so hurry up and do not miss the chance!
